The long awaited video from Drake from his first album, Thank Me Later. I like the visuals of the video, but I usually prefer a video with meaning. I like story lines to a music video that go hand in hand with the lyrics. My favorite part has to be the concept with the girl at the end leaving. I feel like that part stood out the most and it meant the most. "Its far from over" for his career and him doing him, but that also means that people will come and go in his life. I felt like the concept of that was most powerful. The other visuals were cool, maybe a tad too much. But it was very artistic in an abstract way. It was cool. Other than that, I've heard enough of Drake. I'm surprised he's finally dropping his first real album out. I don't think he should have put so much out there because people like me are probably tired of his voice.. Or maybe not. Maybe thats just me. But I don't care for him, he's a great artist. Hopefully his first album will live up to its potential. He has a lot of pressure riding out on him and his music. People will be very critical of his work. But he is definitely a talented artist and he's already making it big WITHOUT an album. So congrats to him.
